  • According to a 1990 Rolling Stone interview with Roger McGuinn (The Byrds), McGuinn was turned away at Disneyland in his youth, because he had “long hair.”
  • In 1973, an 18-year-old man named Bogden Delaurot drowned while trying to carry his brother on his back as he swam from Tom Sawyer’s island to shore.
